Because BlackBackground.dev is designed as a standalone digital utility, we do not request or store any of the following:
- No personal identifiable information (names, phone numbers, addresses).
- No accounts, passwords, or authentication profiles.
- No upload or storage of user files, wallpapers, or canvas exports.
- No behavioral tracking cookies or third-party ad profiling beacons.
§ 2.Client-Side Canvas & Wallpaper Generation
When you select a solid color, theme preset, or custom HEX code, the mathematical rasterization is executed exclusively within your device's browser memory. The resulting PNG, JPG, or WebP downloads are generated via client-side Blob URLs (URL.createObjectURL). No image binary ever traverses our network infrastructure.
§ 3.Cookies and Local Storage
We do not use tracking cookies. Optional client-side state (such as your recently selected colors or active filter preferences) may be stored solely in your browser's local storage (localStorage) to enhance your return experience. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings without affecting core site capabilities.
